2018 saw OLD20 attending the Tractorfest show at Newby Hall, North Yorkshire. It wasn't the first time we had been to the show, as Nick had attended during its early years. However he soon stopped after deciding that everytime he went, it rained. Not a problem that we had this year as for the whole weekend the show was bathed in sunshine and warm weather.

Our stall was located within the Ford & Fordson Association display, next to their members tent. We were surrounded by some fantastic examples for Ford tractors from throughout the ages and many of the owners welcomed us with stories and information about their exhibits. One interesting tractor on display was the 'Ford 5000' / Fordson Super Major which had been imported from the USA.

Taking an opportunity to explore the rest of the show throughout the weekend, we can confirm this is definitely a tractor show! As well as all the Fords, the other clubs were also on full display with Ferguson Club, BlueForce, Allis Chalmers Club, International Harvester Club, David Brown Club, FOFH, and just groups of tractors on display. Complimenting all of these were the tractors on display in the show ring too.

Hopefully we will be back next year for another visit, either with a stall or just as visitors, and we hope to see you all there!
