The latest book from the pen of 93 year old Arthur Battelle; 'Memories of a Country Boy' is Arthurs story from his earliest possible memories right up to his final days as a working man with Roadless traction. The book is full of anecdotes and thoughts from his time working on Fordson Standard N's as a boy, to travelling around Europe demonstrating Ford Tractors and then becoming a fountain of knowledge fixing Roadless 115's.

Synopsis:
This book tells the life of a country boy in 1925 written in his 93'rd year. It covers life in a farm workers family, his education, or rather the lack of it, life as a tractor contractor working for farmers during the second world war then until 1954 and afterwards for an agricultural machinery dealer. Next as a service manager for Roadless traction limited and finally, my wife and I formed an importing company called Farm Tractor Drives UK ltd.
