A brand new lip seal type engine block to suit MF tractors originally fitted with Perkins A4.248 engines. This short motor comples built up by engineers in the UK with pistons, liners, rings, crankshaft and camshaft.
Bore: 101mm,
Stroke: 127mm,
Cylinders: 4,
Non Turbo,
Rear seal: Lip,
Balancer type: both 4 and 6 bolt,
Short Motor Contains;
- Cylinder block – Later spec, cylinder head threads recessed in the block,
- Pistons – 3 ring type,
- Liners – Less fire ring,
- Rings – 3 ring type,
- Crankshaft – long web with 3 bolt crank pulley fixing,
- Camshaft and followers,
- Bearing shells and Thrust washers,
To fit your new block you may also require:
- Top Gasket Set (2014006)
- Bottom Gasket Set (2036007)
- Cylinder Head Bolt Kit (2013920)*
*If this is a replacement for an MF300 series or later tractor, you will not require this set.
Please read the two attachments carefully. The new short motor may require additonal parts in order to fit to the tractor and must be run-in using the approved proceedure otherwise the warranty will be void.
