Cylinder head gasket to suit four cylinder, high compression Fordson tractors. This gasket is now manufactured in a modern, heat resistant, long lasting graphite material. It will equally replace any old copper gasket without trouble.
A high compression engine can be identified in two ways;
- The cylinder head should have the words 'HIGH COMPRESSION' embossed in one side,
- Alternatively, the spark plugs will be evenly spaced along the cylinder head and NOT paired together.
Please Note: This gasket must be put on clean and dry - Use NO sealant. Once the tractor has been run for half an hour, re-torque your cylinder head bolts.
