Having trouble sourcing parts for the old Ferguson T20 TEF Diesel KIGAS system? Unfortunately it appears that pumps, atomisers and other parts to make this system work are just not available anymore. However, OLD20 is here to help! We have put together a kit of parts which you can use to bypass the old pump and update the old heater plug so as to make the starting procedure easier and faster.

How does it work?
Basically this system uses the KIGAS tank to feed, via gravity, a thermostart type heater plug. This is included with the kit and powered by the same electrical source as your original heater plug. The difference being that rather than pumping and atomizing the KIGAS, the thermostart plug will draw and heat fuel at the same time by simply switching your ignition key on.

So what is included in this 'kit'?
The kit includes; a thermostart heater plug, a female nut and olive to suit, a male nut and olive to fit the tank and a length of copper fuel pipe. The pipe will come wound to keep shipping costs low so you will need to carefully unroll it and position to meet the heater plug. Just remember to drop the pipe lower than the heater plug so the fuel is gravity fed.

This kit does not include the KIGAS tank but can be purchased separately.

Can you get parts to fix the old KIGAS system? 
No. We do offer KIGAS tanks and pipe kits but that is it. No pumps available. No atomisers available.
All the parts shown in the 'A' bracket are not available except the kigas pipes.

What is KIGAS?
KIGAS is actually the brand name for the starting system. Like LUCAS or CAV. The stuff you put in the KIGAS tank is just diesel fuel. Same as you put in the main tank.
